Field deployments for critical industry — robots and systems that ship into energy, mining, infrastructure, and other high-stakes environments.
CORTEX INTEGRITY™ h2>
Cortex Integrity™ by SKA Robotics® uses AI to automatically locate surface defects on critical infrastructure.
This technology force multiplies inspectors and allows them to cover more ground in less time.
SIEMENS ENERGY GENERATOR MAINTENENCE ROBOT h2>
"SKA Robotics co-developed and completed a custom-built robot for our generator maintenance team within a 4-month timeframe. Throughout the project, they provided weekly updates and addressed our questions promptly. At the end of the project, we received a fully operational robot along with a comprehensive documentation package." - Engineering Manager, Siemens Energy
These robots, codeveloped by SKA Robotics® and Siemens Energy, are used to tighten fasteners inside of 1 gigawatt utility-scale generators, while driving in the air gap between the rotor and the stator of the generator.
This capability allows Siemens Energy to perform routine maintenance on 1,500 to 2,500 fasteners without needing to disassemble the generator, increasing customer uptime by approximately 3 days and decreasing the opportunity cost of maintenance by $1.73M per deployment.
SIEMENS ENERGY GENERATOR VISION SYSTEM h2>
SKA Robotics® developed a vision system that images the inside of Siemens Energy generators. The tools developed by this program enable real time asset integrity monitoring, without having to take the asset down for extended periods.
The proof of concept vision system shown to the right was developed in under three months.
This is part of a larger program of in-service generator inspection systems in development by SKA Robotics and Siemens Energy.
AUTONOMY FOR MINING AND CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES
Stock image used for confidentiality
SKA Robotics® has automated construction and mining vehicles across multiple brands ranging in working weight from under 500 pounds to more than 3,000,000 pounds.
Our vehicle-mounted autonomy suites enable collision avoidance, autonomous navigation, and other types of autonomous operations.
These systems reduce operator error, increase efficiency, and take operators out of dangerous situations.
MULTI-ROBOT SOLAR FIELD CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM

SKA Robotics® collaborated with Sarcos Technology and Robotics Corporation on a solar field construction system that acts as a 3:1 labor multiplier for engineering, procurement and construction firms working on utility scale solar deployments.
The result of this program is that solar fields can be constructed more rapidly with limited resources, leading to faster and more economical deployments.
RUCKTRO™
RuckTro™ autonomously navigates and follows landscaping and construction workers to carry up to 300 lbs of gear through any environment or weather.
AUTONOMOUS BLAST HOLE DRILL
Stock image used for confidentiality
SKA Robotics® partnered with a major manufacturer of mining equipment to automate the drilling of blast holes for open pit surface mining.
The results are a more efficient operation and actionable geospatial data on blast holes.
ROBOTIC CATAMARAN
SKA Robotics® developed a fully autonomous robotics boat for water sampling in the Gulf of America, following Deepwater Horizon. This system allows for continual inspection with smaller crews.
These platforms have been deployed in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
